If you have good and loving thoughts for someone, you are not only sending uplifting and harmonizing messages to him but also to yourself. This helps repair any short circuits that may exist in the universal grid of communication. When the main water pipe of a town becomes obstructed, all the homes are left without this life-giving nutrient.
In a similar way, a congested universal communication system prevents constructive energy from penetrating the collective consciousness of society and interrupts the flow of universal energy to you and your environment. It is up to each one of us to maintain or strengthen our links with nature and our fellow human beings. By sincerely wishing them greater material and spiritual wealth, we automatically open our doors to receive the same or more. Because of our intent to give something from our heart, we connect automatically to the circuit of love, wealth and happiness. This allows us to draw from the very same source and become more loving, generous and happy ourselves. In other words, what you wish unto yourself, first wish unto others.
