Ingredients
1/2 cup hulled barley or pearl barley
6 cups water
2 TS (sorry it’s teaspoon)high quality sea salt (or less according to taste)
2 tablespoons lemon juice (optional)
Maple syrup to sweeten (optional)

Method
We rinse our organic barely until the water is clear and then we soak it overnight or at least 8 hours changing the water 3 times. In the morning, we rinse the barely and then boil it with the water and salt, until the barley is soft about 1 hour just keep adding water. Otherwise you can use a pressure cooker and cook in medium heat until 8 whistles. Strain the water and allow to cook.
